Sins Of The Fathers
NOTE: This powerful word of prophecy was given to our Prayer Pastor, Rev. L.A. Samples. We belive it is a word for this time. On Jan. 7 and again on Sept. 22, 2007 Abundant Life Church had a time of repentance and communion on behalf of the sins of our fathers. We are repenting for the sins and decisions of our national fathers that has brought a curse upon our nation. We do not believe that our repentance will change their eternal destiny. If they died lost, our repentance does not save them but we believe we can break the curse off our nation. We encourage every church to consider having a time like this. Please help us get this message to everyone you can. We know that you share our heart for revival in America!

The Sins Of Our National Fathers

Our country is backslidden. Our national spirit, our national soul, our national body have been taken captive by Satan. It happened decades ago. Our fathers turned from God, which brought the hedge down and allowed the serpent to come in and bite.
When God raises up leaders they are held accountable and when they do good the children enjoy the benefits. However if they do evil, we the children, suffer for their actions. Adam, our father, sinned. We the children are still suffering for it. Our founding fathers established this country on Godly principles and we the children have reaped the benefits for generations now. (Ex. 20:5)
At this point in time, the only antidote is repentance to God thru heart felt intercessory prayer. We, the children, must repent for the sins of our fathers. We, the children, must break these satanic chains of darkness off of our nation so that the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ may shine again. It is now so very important that the many churches and prayer groups begin to pray for our country from a common platform, as one. If we do it the way God said, then He will hear from Heaven and heal our land (2Chronicles7:14). A national sovereign move of God is the only answer!
What are our Nation’s spirit, soul and body?
Our NATIONAL SPIRIT is our Christian Heritage. Jesus Christ is our Lord.
Our national spirit was taken captive in 1963 when our Supreme Court fathers ruled PRAYER unconstitional and officially separated church from state. Our church fathers stood by and refused to speak out from the pulpit for fear of loosing their tax exempt status or loosing their people. Our own natural fathers were too busy. Satan got a foothold which is now a stronghold.
Our NATIONAL SOULis our morality, our ethics, how we see things as good or evil.
Our national soul was taken captive in 1973 when our Supreme Court fathers ruled ABORTION legal. They turned their back on God and said that quality of life is more important then sanctity of life. . Our church fathers stood by and refused to rise up and speak out. Our own natural fathers were too busy. Satan got a foothold which is now a stronghold.
Our NATIONAL BODY is our wealth, our physical, material heritage
Our national body was taken captive in 1913 when our president and congressional fathers passed the FEDERAL RESERVE Act and allowed a private monopoly bank to legally counterfeit money to lend back to the US government. Our church fathers stood by and refused to preach politics from the pulpits for fear of loosing their tax exempt status or loosing their people. Our own natural fathers were too busy. Satan got a foothold which is now a stronghold.
God has an antidote for the serpents bite. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
God will allow us the children to pray and repent for the sins of our fathers, though that may be dead. We can stand in their stead and repent for them, identify with them and God will accept this. He has done this in the past. See Daniel 9th chapter and Nehemiah chapter 9. They were repenting for their fathers sins. We are repenting for the sins and decisions of our national fathers that has brought a curse upon our nation. We do not believe that our repentance will change their eternal destiny. If they died lost our repentance does not save them.
As in other historical revivals we must come together around the communion table. As many of us, the children, as will. Both here and around the world. I see a worldwide communion telecast of the children of America with our missionary brethren from around the world praying for this country with us.
As God has done before, He will hear and He will heal! Then we will see the great sustained revival we all have longed for!
